Never miss a problem order again: set up your own email alerts in Quiqdash

Most delivery problems are fixable. The issue is rarely the problem itself — it’s the gap between something going wrong and you finding out about it.

An order goes on hold on Thursday because the customer’s address is incomplete. Nobody tells you. You spot it on Monday when the customer emails to ask where their parcel is.

By then, you’ve lost three days and a bit of goodwill you’d rather have kept.

That gap is what Notification Rules closes.

What it is

Notification Rules is a new page in Quiqdash, under Account → Notification Rules.

It lets you create your own alerts: pick the order situation you care about, choose who should hear about it, and Quiqup emails them when it happens.

No support ticket. No integration work. You set it up yourself, and you can change or switch off any rule at any time.

What you can set a rule on

Each rule is built from four choices.

1. The order state

Choose the moment in the delivery journey you want to hear about:

  • Collected
  • Out for Delivery
  • Delivery Failed
  • Delivery Complete
  • On Hold

2. The reason

For orders that go On Hold, you can narrow the rule down to exactly why:

  • Incomplete address
  • 2 delivery attempts failed
  • 3+ delivery attempts failed
  • Customer cancellation request
  • Pending RTO approval
  • Unavailable SLA
  • Unable to dispatch
  • Damaged parcel
  • Missing parcel
  • Undeliverable location
  • To be rescheduled
  • Problematic order
  • Other

3. Destination countries

This is optional.

Leave it blank to cover everything, or narrow a rule to specific markets when your cross-border orders need different eyes on them.

4. Who gets the email

Add one email address or several.

That could be your ops lead, a shared inbox, your customer service team — or all three.

You can then choose how often you want to hear about it:

  • Immediately
  • Hourly digest
  • Daily digest — delivered at 08:00 UAE time

New rules default to the daily digest, which suits most teams. Switch a rule to immediate for the things you’d drop everything for.

What the email looks like

Each notification lists the affected orders alongside the information you need to act:

  • Your own order reference
  • Customer name
  • Sales channel
  • Order state
  • Reason

Every order links straight through to Quiqdash, so you can pick it up from there.

Three rules worth switching on today

On Hold → Incomplete address → Immediate

The single most recoverable problem in delivery.

Catch it the same day and a quick call to the customer can often save the delivery.

On Hold → 2 delivery attempts failed → Daily digest

Your morning list of orders that need a decision before they turn into returns.

Delivery Failed → Immediate

So your customer service team hears about it from you — not from the customer.

How it behaves

A few things are worth knowing before you set yours up.

Rules only look forward.
Switching on a new rule won’t blast you with every order already sitting in that state. It starts from the moment you save it.

No repeat spam.
You’ll get notified once per order, per rule. If an order flips in and out of a state, a built-in cooldown stops the same alert from firing over and over.

This is separate from your customers’ WhatsApp updates.
The delivery messages your end customers receive are unchanged and are still managed by Quiqup. Notification Rules is about alerting you and your team.

Admin access is required to change rules.
Anyone on your Quiqdash account can see the rules in place, but account admins are the ones who can create, edit, and delete them.

Setting one up

  1. Open Quiqdash and go to Account → Notification Rules
  2. Click New rule
  3. Pick the order state, and the reason if you want to narrow it down
  4. Add the email addresses that should be notified
  5. Choose immediate, hourly, or daily
  6. Click Save

The rule is live straight away.

It takes about a minute. Start with one rule for the problem that costs you most, see what it catches for a week, and build from there.
